A course designed to teach the basics of witchcraft .

How to cast a circle.

How to call the quarters.

How to celebrate the Sabbats and Esbats.

How to cast a spell.

How to make incense.

No knowledge is needed, this course will not lead to initiation. But will start you down a path that will bring you a deeper understanding of the Goddess and God, readying you, if you choose, for self-initiation.

Ending in two rituals held in Ravens Wood.

This is the sixth year we have been teaching this course and look forward to another new group in June.

Witchcraft, Worts and All!!

1.Intro- What does being a witch mean?

   About our form of Traditional Witchcraft, and the history of witchcraft.

   Coven or hedgewitch?

2.Finding your Goddess and God

   Who is The Triple Goddess and The Horned God? With a visualisation.

3. The Wheel of the Year- Sabbats.

    The story of the eight festivals.

4. Magical Tools- What are they, their use, layout, and consecration. 

5. Incense, Oils, Worts- Their magical uses.

6. Crystals- Their magical uses.

7. Esbats- Spells and ethics.

   Waxing-full-waning moon.

   Amulets and talismans,

   Candle magic.

8. More Spells- Knot or cord magic,

    Spell bags and verbal incantations.

    The truth about sex magic. Hands on healing. 

9. Know your Quarters What are they and visualisation.

10. Setting Circle- How is a ritual constructed and why.

11. Setting Circle- More ritual, and what part you will play.

12. Ritual in Ravens Wood -Tring- as our guests, we will host the ritual. Meet at 1pm, you will see how the lessons are put into practise, there will be time to do private meditation, please bring wine and food to share. A discussion on any points raised in the course. The ritual (2 hours) and feast. Travel home, back at approx. 10 p.m.

13. Ritual in Ravens Wood- Tring- as your guests. Now it's your turn to host the ritual, with only a little help from us if you need it. Please bring wine and food to share. A discussion on self-initiation, time to do private meditation. The ritual (2 hours) and feast. Travel home, back at approx. 10 p.m
